We’re on the hunt for a Right to Buy & Shared Ownership Assistant to join our supportive and hardworking Development Team.

You’ll have real an eye for detail and a genuine interest in social housing, demonstrating daily your organisational skills as you effortlessly glide through the variety of tasks this role offers.

You’ll have the perfect platform to showcase the skills you’ve gained in your career so far, supporting with legal compliance on property sales through the right to buy and right to acquire along with collating information required for solicitors on property resales.  

Most of all you enjoy building relationships, working in collaboration with internal and external partners as we continue to put customers at the heart of everything we do.

A few key points from our role profile:

  • Receive, evaluate and process Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications with support from the RTB/SO officer ensuring they are processed in line with procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Receive and process Shared Ownership staircasing enquiries through to legal completion.
  • Receive and process Shared Ownership assignment enquiries through to legal completion.
  • Processing Right to Buy and Right to Acquire aftersales, restrictions on Land Registry titles and discount repayment calculation.
  • Processing Open Market Sales aftersales, dealing with restrictions to allow sales to go through smoothly.
  • Producing and marking up conveyancing plans for all types of sales.
  • Raising purchase orders on our internal finance system.
  • Collating information from internal systems and colleagues to produce leaseholder packs in the form of LPE1.
  • Checking rent and service charge accounts, apportioning balances leading to completion.
