SHAPING PLACES, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES

At Futures we’re committed to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’.

We’re looking for a Regeneration and Rural Housing Lead to join Futures and play a key role in shaping housing led regeneration, rural housing and the future of our places and communities.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who can bring together commercial thinking, strong partnership working and a genuine commitment to creating positive outcomes for customers and residents.

You’ll lead a varied portfolio of regeneration schemes, from early appraisal through planning and into pre-delivery. This could include estate regeneration, garage regeneration, green space activity, later living opportunities and rural housing projects delivered on behalf of Warwickshire Rural Housing Association.

Working with consultants, contractors, local authorities, funding partners and colleagues across Futures, you’ll develop strategy, shape business plans, manage procurement activity and oversee projects that need careful thought, clear communication and sensitive engagement with people affected by change.

You’ll bring commercial acumen, sound knowledge of social housing and the wider regulatory environment, and the confidence to work with residents, partners and stakeholders through sometimes complex conversations and decisions.

We know people can sometimes rule themselves out if they don’t meet every requirement. If your skills, experience and approach feel like a good match, we’d really encourage you to apply.

A few key things you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, manage and coordinate Futures’ regeneration strategy and long-term delivery plan.
  • Lead housing led regeneration schemes from appraisal through planning and into pre-delivery.
  • Oversee rural housing projects, including work delivered on behalf of Warwickshire Rural Housing Association.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, local authorities, funding partners and internal teams.
  • Manage procurement, budgets, risks, due diligence and reporting in line with Futures’ requirements.
  • Build trust with residents and communities, helping communication feel clear, honest and thoughtful through change.

Sounds like me, so what are you offering?

If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a supportive organisation with a great culture and a real commitment to doing things well. We offer competitive benefits, opportunities to grow and develop, and the chance to shape places and communities that will make a lasting difference.

This is a 37 hour per week role, paid monthly. You’ll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days at Christmas, along with private healthcare options, discount schemes and a strong focus on health and wellbeing.

We’ve been awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award, the highest level of IiP accreditation, recognising organisations that are passionate about helping colleagues feel supported, valued and able to do their best.
